The 15th annual Culture Collision is set to return to the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) on Wednesday, September 10. This exciting event marks the beginning of the 2025-2026 metro New Orleans cultural season and will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. What makes it special is that it's free and open to all!
What to Expect at Culture Collision
Guests will have the chance to explore over 50 local nonprofit organizations dedicated to arts, culture, and humanities in the metro New Orleans area. The event invites you to stroll throughout NOMA, engaging with everything from classical arts institutions to innovative newcomers, making it a vibrant display of New Orleans culture.
Community Impact and Collaboration
Launched by WWNO in 2008, Culture Collision aims to shine a light on the significant role the cultural community plays in the local economy. Through this event, attendees will not only witness local creativity but will also attend live performances and receive exclusive promotions and giveaways.
“From its first year, Culture Collision has featured the broadest range of New Orleans’ cultural endeavors,” says Paul Maassen, WWNO general manager. “We look forward to bringing this impactful event back to Orleans Parish and are proud to present an evening that will amplify so many streams of local artistic expression.”
