The Young Leadership Council (YLC) has set the stage for its highly anticipated 2025 Role Model Awards Evening, an event that champions the impactful leaders shaping the Crescent City. This year's ceremony is scheduled for October 24, at The Sazerac House, where ten remarkable honorees will be recognized for their dedication to bettering the community.

Who Are the 2025 Role Models?

The list of 2025 honorees includes distinguished figures such as Lisa D. Alexis, Wayne Baquet, Jr., and Jim Cook, among others. Each of these leaders has made significant contributions to various sectors, showcasing the diverse talents present in our city. “This is an especially impactful group of change-makers across New Orleans that have redefined various industries in our city,” commented Brooke Laizer, one of the co-chairs of the event.

An Evening of Networking and Celebration

The event will kick off with a Patron Party at 6:30 p.m., featuring delicious appetizers from Messina’s Catering and complimentary drinks by Sazerac. This intimate setting offers attendees a unique chance to connect with the role models themselves, fostering a supportive environment for young professionals seeking mentorship and guidance.

The main award presentation follows at 7:30 p.m., incorporating live entertainment from Harry Hardin, who will bring a touch of local jazz and classical influence, making it a vibrant celebration of achievement.
