Local favorites include their classic Italian sub and their signature muffuletta, layered with olive salad that packs a punch. Why Sandwiches Matter in Crescent City The beauty of sandwiches lies in their ability to bring people together. Lunching on a po-boy while discussing the latest neighborhood art exhibit or catching up with friends over a muffuletta after visiting the French Market shows how food is intertwined with the social fabric of New Orleans life.
